Download and install
Get the installer for your system from the download page. Windows users should use the 64-bit package.
Quick Start
Install the app, connect a venue, choose Futures or Spot, test connectivity and credentials, then run one small-amount or small-position end-to-end workflow for that market.
1. First-Use Order
Get the installer for your system from the download page. Windows users should use the 64-bit package.
Even before activation, you can enter the main workspace and get familiar with charts, market selection, trading panels, and history review.
Fill in the required API key, secret, passphrase, or wallet fields, and make sure they match the account, venue, and Futures or Spot market you intend to use.
Run the trading-connection test first, then the credential test, so network reachability and permissions are both confirmed.
Use System Settings to confirm language, appearance theme, market color scheme, and chart timezone so the workspace matches your environment.
Key Screens
The main window brings charts, trading entry points, positions, and order state together, so this is the first area to learn.
For first-time setup, the key task is entering the API key, secret, passphrase, or wallet details correctly.
After placing an order, you should already know where to check order state, order watch, and review results.
Language, themes, market color scheme, chart timezone, and current version are managed here.
2. Small-Position Loop
For Futures, use the smallest position size you are comfortable validating. For Spot, test a small asset amount rather than starting at normal scale.
For Futures, check the protective stop, first take-profit, or `Tracking -> Order Watch`. For Spot, check asset balance, open orders, and available balance.
For Futures, use position details and tracking to review positions, stops, first take-profit, and order state. For Spot, use the trading panel to review assets, available balance, open orders, and order state.
Exit according to your plan, using market close-all or another clearly understood exit command when needed.
Review fills and order history. Futures also has position history; for Spot, confirm the expected available and frozen asset-balance changes.
3. Before Going Live
Make sure the API key, secret, passphrase, or wallet information belongs to the same venue account you are trying to use. Do not mix fields from different accounts or venues.
For the active market, enable only account reading, order/position viewing, and the required Futures or Spot order-entry and cancellation permissions. Do not enable withdrawals, fund transfers, internal transfers, or any asset-out permission.
If the venue uses an IP allowlist, make sure the trading path's outbound IP is on it. When needed, configure a dedicated SOCKS5 or HTTPS proxy for the trading path.
Order Watch Reminder
If a limit parent needs CubeTrade local watching, keep the app running before the parent fills and confirm watch status in the tracking panel. Closing the app, losing network connectivity, or hitting API errors can prevent protection orders from being placed as planned.
4. Common Blockers
This is usually caused by regional restrictions, firewalls, or the current network path. First verify that the network can reach the target venue, then check proxy or outbound-network settings.
Market-data and trading paths are separate. Check account-read, order/position read, derivatives order placement/cancellation permissions, IP allowlists, and whether the trading-path proxy is taking effect.
If the current venue or take-profit ratio uses CubeTrade-managed protection, no stop / take profit is created before the parent fills. Check `Tracking -> Order Watch` and keep CubeTrade running until the parent fills or is canceled.
